Great food and the service is top notch.

When the waitress brought my shrimp poboy I thought it was a joke at first , a 6" bun with 4 shrimp on it ( and yes it had lettuce tomato Mayo ) . The 4 shrimp were very good but I have been to NOLA many times and this poboy would get laughed out of Louisiana . And with a glass of tea my bill was $16.70 I won't go back !

I heard rants and rave about this place. Visited it on Thursday August 15. We ordered and after 55 minutes, our food was still not to our table. They said, there is a large delay, we are working on a take out order first. They must cook one meal at a time? We walked out. We tried to pay for our tea but there was confusion over that as well. After 1 hour we left. I don't plan on returning. I left one star, since the server was polite.

Oh my gosh! When I say this place was good... wow. The food was so delicious. You need to try the grilled pecan pie as well. Overall I loved this restaurant and I will definitely return.

The fried fish was DELICIOUS 👌The crawfish pies, voodoo salad, read beans and rice were incredibly yummy 😊 I definitely recommend SHRIMP DADDY'S ❤️

Great food and fun friendly staff!

Not a great experience, very expensive for what you get. There were 5 of us, 4 adults and one child, we had to wait 50 minites after orfering to get out food. Two people ordered jambalaya and were brought gumbo. They did correct this fairly quickly. However, the jambalaya was so spicy hot they could barely finish it. I had the gumbo. If you're hungry, don't order this, about 3/4-1 cup is all you get for a dinner portion. The child had mac and cheese (kraft). Now, to be fair, my wife ordered the grilled shrimp and although it wasn't bad, it was just small and bland. The gator teeth were pretty good. So, if I ever go back (not happening) I'd go with just appetizers. Just a side note, if you're used to smoking ordnances, be warned, it is also a bar and there is smoking.

We pass by this place numerous times and have wanted to try it. Finally did and it was ok. We had the sampler platter which comes with 2 coconut shrimp, 2 grilled shrimp, 2 cocktail shrimp, 2 fried shrimp, and 2 shrimp hogz (shrimp hogz are bacon wrapped shrimp) and homemade chips. Our favorite was the coconut shrimp which had a great flavor. I think the bacon causes the shrimp to dry out and makes it chewy. The homemade chips are really good too.

My husband and I had dinner here and we both thought it was fabulous. His shrimp etoufee and my fish etoufee we're excellent as was the seafood gumbo. The house salad dressing was delicious and different from any dressing I've tasted. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.

Tried Shrimp Daddy's for the first time. We had lived in Louisiana for a while and and learned some about the food, we do now live in Missouri. I found out that the owner lived down there most of his life and had learned this business for over 60 years. He is wonderful to talk to, the lunch was very good for three of us. The flavors are authentic, nicely spiced, and the shrimp and spices all come from Louisiana. The price for 3 people at lunch , with tax was $28. My wife and I and our neighbors will be going back there periodically for additional tastes of Cajun country. It may be a little more for some of their meals but the flavors make it worth while.

Wonderful food and service Owner was at our table several times checking on us and chatting. Everything wehad to eat was so good...it was a real experience. We really took our time to order and enjoy. The Pimm's cup was such a different cocktail. Gumbo and red beans and rice for an app and the fresh shrimp we had for our platter and etouffee were so flavorful Unassuming from the outside but fun NOLA decor inside. We'll definitely go back and reccomend to others!

Delightful evening with bowling buddies and their spouses. Had my favorite, Voodoo Salad and Gumbo. Topped off with fried pecan pie! I love this place!

Not impressed. Shrimp was yummy. Craft mac & cheese watered down and charged over $3 extra for the side even though the menu didn't mention the additional cost on the dinner section or with the sides issued. One person dinner with 5 shrimp, small bowl of mac&cheese, and ice tea $23.xx. service was pretty good minus not fixing bill or communicating the extra charge.

Group of 6 went in for dinner on Thursday night. The food and service were fantastic!! Would highly recommend it. The wait was a bit long. But the food was well worth the wait and the drinks were great! The owner even came and sat with us and gave some history. Very entertaining!!
